Ps. 38:10 even the light has gone from my eyes.

VERSE1: When all the light has gone
(eccl 5:17, 6:4 Eccl. 11:7 Light is sweet, and it pleases the eyes to see the sun)
You find your life is running on empty
(:8 However many years a man may live, let him enjoy them all.)
When arrogance has fled
(But let him remember the days of darkness, for they will be many. )
and left you lying naked and lonely
(Everything to come is meaningless. 12:2,3)

When friends are far away
(Eccl 4:8 There was a man all alone)
And fleeting pleasure gives birth to pain
( Eccl. 2:10 I denied myself nothing my eyes desired; I refused my heart no pleasure. 6:9, 7:4, 26; 12:1)
When love will not be made
(12:5 desire is no longer stirred)
Emptiness is all -all that remains
When the the light has gone

Come To Me
When All The Light has Gone
Come to me
(Eccl. 2:25 ...without [God], who can eat or find enjoyment? )

VERSE2: When all the light has gone
Vainly you seek solace in dreaming
(Eccl. 2:23 even at night his mind does not rest. 5:12, 8:16)
When sorrow is your song
Where will you find strength for the singing
(Eccl. 12:4 all their songs grow faint; )

When knowledge drives you mad
(12:11 Of the making of many books there is no end, and much study wearies the body; 7:23,24; 8:17, )
Guilt has grown too heavy to bear
(Ps. 38:4 My guilt has overwhelmed me like a burden too heavy to bear.)
You survey all you have
(5:10-16, 6:2; ?)
Wealth hangs like a cross you can't share
When the light has gone
Come to me When All The Light has Gone Come to me

VERSE 3:When all the light is gone
Feel the darkness under your skin
(Exod. 10:21 "Stretch out your hand toward the sky so that darkness will spread over Egypt -darkness that can be felt." )
All that you've achieved
(eccl 2:11)
Meaningless- chasing the wind
(eccl 2:11)
'Til the light has gone

There is a time For everything
That we can dream beneath the sky
A time to build and to break
Time to be born and time to die

A time to kill a time to heal
A time to weep, a time to laugh
A time to gain(search)/ a time to lose (give up)
Time to mourn a time to dance

A time to keep and throw away
time for silence time to speak
Time to love a time to hate
A time for war a time for peace

And all this time from dust to dust
(12:7)
The light is slowly growing dim
And when you find it's meaningless
Come to me
When all the light has gone
