Bildad Denies That A Man Can Please YHVH
1 Again Bildad {Baal's-Love} from Shuach {Dell} contradicts [Job]:
This is the bogus "righteousness is filthy rags" argument. False religionists like to say, β€œwe can't be good, so there's no use trying to perfect ourselves!” In truth, we can, like Job, be righteous enough to please YAH. Technically, we can even be perfect. The Messiah's life proves it.
2 β€œDominion and fear belong to [Elohim]. He establishes [universal] order from his [celestial] heights.
3 Is there any [way to] count [YAH's] armies? Upon whom does [YAH's] light fail to shine [from] above?
4 So how can man justify himself before Elohim? How can anyone born from a wombed-man be pure?
5 Look up at the moon. It's not bright [to YAH]. In his sight, even the stars are [dirty]!
6 How much less [bright are we] mortals, mere worms, [we] children of Adam, the [original] worm?!”
