Then [princess] Michal {Brook} takes an [idol] statue.
She lays it on [David's] bed.
She arranges a pillow of goats’ hair at its head.
She covers [the statue] with a sheet.

Note: Michal performs this act of heroism in defiance of her father and king.
Authority is as authority does.
