"A young man dreams he is walking around listening to very analytical, insightful but very un-dreamlike monologues on the nature of reality, existential philosophy, and dreams.
No plot, no real characters. Since the animation, which is very interesting and artful, was drawn from real-world DV source footage, the underlying compositions are quite mundane, and rarely carry the psychological character of truly dreamlike scenes such as those in Orson Welles "The Trial (1962)" or even Spellbound.
People with a deep scholarly interest in animation and/or philosophy will find it intellectually stimulating. Most ordinary people looking for a "movie" experience will be very disappointed and bored to death. " GENIE SAYS:
