TROY SAYS:

Good 7.1

"Starts slow and talky. Gets going after about 30 minutes. Nice jailbreak scene, among several good action scenes. Good but monotonous music, like the 3rd man. Quality plotting similar to other 70's thrillers such as 3 Days Of The Condor. Has the amazing feature of the protagonist appearing to be something he's not. Huston deftly withholds this revelation until the end of the movie. (like 6th Sense.) Newman is very good. Quality film-making, if sometimes slow, like most of Huston's work. What the film lacks is a unique hook & look, some obvious visual feature to differentiate it from other crime/spy secret agent movies."

OK 6.4

β€œApparently (but not actually) criminal protagonist. Not much in the way of spiritual uplift or redemption. Some violence. No sex. Occasional profanity.”
