TROY SAYS:

Has some Respectable elements 6.0

"PROs: Mostly clean. Sweet-hearted. Cuba does a great job. Nice score.

CONs: The movie's challenge are marketing-related. This β€˜football’ story is not about a player or really a coach, but more of a mascot. And he's mentally-challenged. And his name β€˜Radio’, suggests that he's some kind of radio announcer, and this film is somehow about media.
You get the feeling like you've been sold a sports film when this is really more of a kinder, gentler, less interesting β€˜RainMan’.
The film is further hampered by long, talky scenes."

GENIE SAYS:

OK 6.5

β€œSweet, kind film about a person who is spiritually and emotionally rich and strong, but physically and mentally weak.
The film is hampered by some profanity, which makes it harder to show to children, who are probably a key audience.”
