TROY SAYS:

Good 7.2

"PROs: Fine performances, especially from Annette. Great music score with great songs dropped in. Interesting themes. Excellent insight into the actor's life. Exposes the folly of seeking happiness in extramarital affairs.

CONs: The plot is open to the charge of being silly and melodramatic, more of a soufflΓ© than a full meal. "

GENIE SAYS:

Good 7.2

β€œNo violence. A few bits of relatively light profanity.
There's not much in the way of moral proposition. Two sex scenes are too much for children. The ending hangs on revenge. Not the most morally uplifting ending.”
