I purchased the complete works DVD and Cd of Christmas Animals.
The students in our primary (k-2nd grade) Christian School, Guiding Light, are going to perform the musical for their Christmas Program this year.
The kids got excited from day one.
They love the music and have me play the music during lunch so they can sing along.
My daughter is the music teacher and she and I (I teach 1st & 2nd grade) cast it last week.
Everyone is happy with their part.
My severe adhd student has the sweetest voice and it is such a boost to him to be chosen as the dove to sing Silent Night.
As a class we have been reading about God's acceptance,love and kindness for weeks now, through various bible stories.
My students this year are the most generous spirited kids I have ever taught.
They are the 'Guiding Light Lions.' I allow them to bring stuffed animals to class.
They read to them and keep one small one on their desk.
So this play called out to me.
The fit was absolutely perfect.
But apart from saying thank you so very much for the gift of such a wonderful play.
I want to get more cd's for my 11 kids so they could take them home and practice their songs.
I know the parents would consider them a wonderful addition to their music library.
