The Bible Does Not Speak Kindly Of "Pastors"

"the pastors violate me..."
(Jeremiah 2:8)

"the pastors have become brutish. They fail to seek YHVH. So the pastors will not succeed, and all their flocks will be scattered.
(Jeremiah 10:21)

Many pastors have destroyed my vineyard...
(Jeremiah 12:10)

The wind shall eat up all thy pastors...
(Jeremiah 22:22)

Woe to the pastors...
(Jeremiah 23:1)

YHVH Elohim of Israel decrees against the pastors that feed my people; "You've scattered my flock, and driven them away, and failed to tend them, so Watch: I'll rain your evil deeds back on you," says YHVH.
(Jeremiah 23:2)

On the other hand, there are two (and only two) positive mentions of mortal pastors in the entire bible:

And he gave some [people the job of being] apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
(Ephesians 4:11)

And I'll give you pastors [who live] in harmony with my heart. They'll feed you with knowledge and understanding.
(Jeremiah 3:15)

In general, the pastor/preacher exploits the power of the Word of YHVH for commercial gain.
And often, the preacher doesn't even know he's doing this.
Preach-man really thinks the bible tells him to sit up there and bore you to death!
Preach-man gives you just enough of the Word to keep you functioning in your job so you can come back and tithe again next week.
Preach-man never gives you the full whammy of the Word because the WORD-lightning would cause a great split in the church and upset the delicate predictability of the church budget.
If you think your pastor is "different," ask him to teach a correct, relevant message on James 5:12 and see how many decades you have to wait.
