Absalom's Servants Murder Amnon
INSIDE THE BANQUET AT NIGHT:
CHAKA, a dancing actress, jiggles her belly. The horny princes shout.
AMNON
(to Chaka)
Take your top off!
Chaka grabs Solomon's hand, dances him around the room.
AMNON
Get the brat outta' here! This is a mens' party!
Chaka hides Solomon's eyes with her hand, struggles to sweep him from the room.
Solomon fights his eyes clear of her hand, so he sees:
Chaka saunters up to Amnon.
Amnon grabs her.
CHAKA
Oh, prince! I want to birth your babies!
Amnon presses Chaka's boobs into his face.
Chaka pulls a SHANK from her hair.
ABSALOM
(screams)
For TallPalm!
In extreme slow motion, over the most operatic music:
Amnon looks up [ Wha? ]
Chaka STABS ... the SHANK .... into the back of ... Amnon's NECK!
The sheep-shearers burst in.
Amnon crawls on the floor. Blood spurts from his neck.
Six terrified princes rush for the doors.
Absalom rushes Solomon to the doors.
But Solomon turns back around, cries:
SOLOMON
Amnon!
The sheep-shearers rush to stab Amnon through the heart.
Amnon clutches a table leg, knocks the table onto himself, gives up his last breath.
His eyes dim, blind in death.
