I've been browsing the book "The Everlasting Hatred - Roots Of Jihad" and so far find it reinforcing my earlier feelings about Hal, that is that he is a very knowledgeable man who is a very subtle false prophet, though perhaps quite sincere.
I'm not accusing Hal, but revealing my inner feelings.

Here are the top reasons I on which I base that:
1) His view of the Yahudim (Jews), seems to be the standard one-size-fits-all 'Jews are Jews' and 'Christians are Christians' (just because they say so) mentality that is not faithful to the scriptures.
For instance, the scriptures reveal a more complex picture of a "Synagogue of Satan, who say they are Yahudim (Jews), but are not."

2) Not to discount the seriousness of the conflict, but the whole tone of the book's cover design, title, and text seem obviously designed to dehumanize Muslims and inflame "the everlasting hatred", rather than to help us be be "ministers of reconciliation."
This is great for book sales as it ties into mainstream TV fear and hate propaganda, but not great for the reputation of our Master Yahshua, who taught us to "love our enemies" and to "fear not."

3) Hal continues to write the USA out of prophecy.
While he is correct that US power will diminish, the US will probably continue to be a fully-integral military and supply arm of the "Beast" - that is the end-time Roman empire ("legs of iron on feet mixed with clay" spoken of by Daniel.)
Hal quotes liberally from Daniel paragraphs which literally describe the actions participated in by the American military over the past 200 years, then says, "I can't see the USA in "prophecy."
So I have to conclude, without judgement, that most likely, either Hal is spiritually blind on this topic or is a deceiver.

4) Hal stubbornly promotes the idea that the "beast" is one person.
Beasts in Daniel and Revelation are People GROUPS.
The "seemingly-fatal wound" that the beast suffered was the influence of Yahshua's followers on Roman Sun-God-worshiping religion.
The single-person "beast" doctrine is a decoy which denies us a proper understanding of history and where we fit into history.
(See Rev 17).

This lack of appropriate Biblical nuance contributes to Hal's ability to sell books to those in the "wide way that leads to destruction", rather than the less lucrative and smaller market of those few on the "narrow way."

The test is: do Hal's books create the 9 Fruits Of The Spirit?
(Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control).
Llots of people I love read these popular books like Hal's and the "Left Behind" series, while their lives stay the same or even get worse as measured by the Fruit of the Spirit.

I speak from experience in saying that the media industry, especially the religious sector, is nearly totally desperately wicked and corrupt.
Hal and his friends offer tempting shortcuts into prophecy that turn out to be Trojan Horses.
They quote the relevant scriptures, with interpretations and translations which flop between being excellent then abominable.
Neither Hal or his fellows are any substitute for spending hours each day devouring the Word for ourselves. Perhaps our calling is to help each other find the Truth (without a business enterprise in the middle.)

I am totally open to correction.
If I am ever wrong on any point, please let me know from the Word and I will repent and spread the Good News.
