The original Newer Testament words that we now see in the greek texts rendered 'Theos' were originally, at the very least in in the minds of the Hebrew writers, Elohim and YHWH.
Jeremiah 23:32 Behold, I am against those who prophesy false dreams," says YHWH,
"and tell them, and cause My people to err by their lies and by their recklessness.
Yet I did not send them or command them;
therefore they shall not profit this people at all," says YHWH.
Yahushua was the Son of YHWH,
He was conceived by YHWH,
He did miracles that only Elohim could do;
Hebrews 1:2 but in these last days YHWH has spoken to us by his Son,
whom YHWH appointed the heir of all things,
through whom also YHWH created the world...
8 But of the Son YHWH says,
"Your throne, O Elohim, is forever and ever,
the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your kingdom.
Isaiah 48:1 "Listen to this, O house of Jacob, you who are called by the name of Israel and come from the line of Judah,
you who take oaths in the name of YHWH and invoke the Elohim of Israel- but not in truth or righteousness.
